Records payments to customers' accounts and maintains accounts receivable records by performing the following duties.
1. Prepares daily cash deposits and fills out cash control sheet.
2. Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.
3. Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers, as requested.
4. Processes daily credit card deposits.
5. Files check stubs and bank receipts.
6. Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payments.
7. Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks.
8. Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follow-up.
9. Calls correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts.
