Histology

The HNL Histology Laboratory has expertise in all aspects of tissue processing, slide preparation, and slide staining. Routine H & E staining, along with a full complement of histochemical special stains, are performed daily. Our histology staff also regularly handles sophisticated muscle and nerve biopsy specimens, employing extensive enzyme histochemical studies, and ultramicrotomy for electron microscopic analysis.
