Gynecologic Pathology

Gynecologic & Obstetric pathology is the subspecialty of Pathology dealing with diseases of the female reproductive system. This area also includes diseases of the placenta.

The gynecologic pathologists at Health Network Labs work closely with gynecologic oncologists and surgeons, radiation therapists, and radiologists to diagnose and render state-of-the-art care to women with gynecologic neoplasms.


The HNL Center for Anatomic Pathology's Gynecologic Pathology Division is staffed by board-certified pathologists expert in the diagnosis of disease of the female genital tract including the Cervix, Vagina, Vulva, Endometrium, Uterus, Fallopian Tube, and Ovaries. A full range of gynecologic cytology services are also available.
